Write Santa a Letter, Grant a Wish

just posted a great project on the KAST facebook and thought i'd post it here as well!

From now thru Dec. 24, Macy's will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation for every Santa letter received. All you have to do is write a letter to Santa, stop by a Macy's store, and put it in the big red mailbox (they have one in every Macy's store -- just ask the employees where to find it.)

Get your friends and family involved! Recruit your coworkers and church groups! Bring a whole pile of letters!

i believe this is about the 10th time we have been to Feed My Starving Children, and it continues to be a hit!

never a bad idea to get a bunch of friends in one room to do something serviceable, eh?

thought it was about time KAST showed its face on here.

still follow on facebook for projects & events, although you can now find them listed in the right column of this blog as well.

i'm planning to take more pictures to share in this space so you can see your pretty mugs hard at work saving the world and such.

also, i'm working on a bunch of service opps for the upcoming months.

(as always, let me know if you have good ideas! i'm open to new adventures.)
